One of the most sparkling comedies in opera, The Barber of Seville, is returning to London for only 7 performances at the London Coliseum.Gioacchino Rossini's The Barber of Seville first went live in 1816 and became a landmark of Italian comedy in opera. The comedy best reflects the author's temperament and witty character.
The plot is hilarious with the quick-witted Figaro helping Count Almaviva marry Rosina and save her from a greedy guardian Doctor Bartolo.
Performance time is 2 hours and 50 minutes and you should book in advance to avoid disappointment.
