If you enjoy watching exceptionally skilled flying with that "heart in your mouth wondering when one of the aircraft is going to hit something" feeling then this is undoubtedly the best event for you. For the second year in succession, the Red Bull Air Race 2009 is stopping off in London on its round the world tour. Basically, what happens is that light racing aircraft with the worlds top pilots challenge each other flying just above street and river level through a series of checkpoints and barriers. Although it sounds particularly dangerous, the pilots really are very skilled at this new sport. The Red Bull Air Race takes place close to the O2 Arena (Millennium Dome) but grandstand seats are on offer on either side of the River Thames. There are several places along the course where you could possibly also see pretty well free of charge but keep in mind that this is an all day event, so you may be more comfortable paying for a proper seat.Visiting The Red Bull Air Race 2009:
