It may look like bravado to hold a music festival in direct competition with Notting Hill Carnival but Metro Weekender has been very successful over several years and now attracts large numbers of revellers to Clapham Common for two days of music and fun.

The two days of Metro Weekender are quite different - Saturday is 'SW4', a dance music marathon, whilst Sunday's event is 'Get Loaded in the Park' - an event focused on more traditional bands. Quite differently to major out of London festivals, tickets to this event remain available right up to the day, so you do not have to plan a long time in advance. Metro Weekender is a great event for those who are just happy to relax with good music and the fun for those of similar interest around to chill out with.
