This wonderful initiative to keep the children entertained and enthralled may make you remember your own childhood days. London Children's Film Festival is an annual event which is new to the Barbican but is exactly the sort of event that people there run very well given their excellent creative instincts.London Children's Film Festival allows your children to see filmmaking in all its aspects brought to life and enables them to participate in various workshops and other events across London.
They will see all aspects of what happens behind the scenes in the art of filmmaking as well as get the chance to be a star - even if just for a short while - and there is a wide variety of workshops to suit individual preferences and interests. The overall programme also includes some animated short films for toddlers and features on growing up for young teenagers.
