Have you ever wondered what happens to Wimbledon champions after they retire from mainstream tennis? This event in London is what John McEnroe terms "our Wimbledon" and to participate in The BlackRock Masters Tennis tournament, players must have been World Number One, a Grand Slam finalist or a player on a winning Davis Cup side at one time or another.

The result is that this is a very high quality tournament - the serves may not be at quite the same speeds seen these days on the Centre Court at Wimbledon but you will see the same energy and guile that took these players to the very top of their game in the not so distant past.

Participants usually also include Pat Cash - remember that headband? - Henri Leconte and Goran Ivanesevic to name but a few, which makes for a very lively and enjoyable tournament amongst those who have not forgotten old rivalries.
