How do I book my hotel room?

Can I just check availability and hotel rates on this website?
Yes, you can just check the availability and rates, but the same availability and rates may not be available when you check again, as rooms are sold quickly and rates increase.

How do I book my hotel room?
Our booking process is very simple. Select your choice of hotel or use the default selection from the list, enter the arrival and departure dates, number of nights and number of persons. Click on 'Go'. You could also search for all our hotels by selecting 'London Town Hotels' on the list.

All room types and rates are displayed on your screen, for the hotel you searched rates for, or all London Town Hotels.

If you want to find out more about the hotel, you may do so by clicking on 'details' button appearing below hotel's brief description. You can view hotel facilities, download a fact sheet and book the room from this screen. Or you can go back to the search result screen by clicking on 'back to search' button.

Select the room you want to book of the hotel of your choice, and click on 'Book' button. If you are booking more than one room, you will have to select rooms of your choice, and then click on 'book' button.

On the next screen you will be asked to give your names, select a meal plan, add requests if any, read terms and conditions and click on 'continue booking'. You will be taken to the secure pages of the site, where you will be required to give your credit card details to complete your booking. Please note your valid credit/debit card details are required to guarantee your reservation but no charge will be made prior to your arrival at the hotel.

Once you have entered all the details correctly, click on 'complete booking' and the next screen will show your reservation confirmation with complete details. You will also receive an email confirmation on the email address you have provided with your details.

Once I have made my reservation, will I receive any written confirmation from the hotel?
The email confirmation you receive from us by e-mail is all you will need. We strongly recommend that you print this and bring it with you to your hotel for identification purposes. It displays your confirmation reference Number, the hotel information, the guests' names, the rates applicable and the terms and conditions.

Is the room rate per person or per night?
All rates are based on per room, per night. Extra persons, roll-away beds and other personal incidentals may be subject to additional charges and subject to availability.

Is breakfast included?
Generally the rates are on 'room only' basis, and you have to prebook breakfast of your choice at extra cost while booking your room. Often we do have Special Offers for some hotels and room types, where complimentary breakfast is included in the rates. This will be indicated to you during the booking process.

Are taxes included in the rate?
VAT - Value Added Tax is not included in the rates initially displayed but you will be shown the VAT inclusive cost before you commit to a reservation. At present the rate is 17.5 %.

Can I request a smoking or non-smoking room?
All our hotels have non smoking rooms only.

Can I specify where I would like my room located (preferred floor, next to elevator etc.)?
A section will appear on the booking form to add such requests. The hotel staff will do their best to accommodate special requests. We cannot guarantee that your requests will be met but we will do our utmost to meet them.

Is there a charge if an extra person stays in my room?
All hotel rooms booked on our websites are guaranteed to accommodate persons as per the room configuration clearly indicated. Some rooms in some hotels can accommodate additional guests but you should check with our Central Reservation Office as to availability and cost. An additional charge will apply where the normal number of persons for the room is exceeded.

Do you offer reduced rates for children?
With the guarantee of our lowest Internet rates you already enjoy a high discount and the charges for each room type are as shown irrespective of the occupancy.

Our children will be with us... do they stay free?
Usually children under 3 years of age can stay free in their parent's room, without extra bed. If a crib is needed please include this in your special requests of contact our Central Reservation Office to ensure arrangements are made.

Do I have to pay extra for a cot, rollaway bed or crib?
If you need a cot, rollaway bed or crib for your room, please add your request while booking your room. The hotel will be happy to accommodate you if the type of extra bedding you requested is available. There may be an extra charge payable.

Can I make a hotel booking for my children below age 18?
You can make a reservation for separate rooms for children under the age of 18 so long as they are within a party including adults and the adults take responsibility for the children.

How old do I have to be an adult to book a hotel room on your website?
You must be at least 18 years old to book a hotel room through our website.

How do I make a booking for someone else?
To complete a reservation for someone else, simply type in his or her name instead of yours as the guest name. Use the billing address for the credit card you are using as the address. Please note that this booking is only valid if a copy of both sides of the card together with your written authorisation to use the card as a guarantee and, subsequently, to charge the card for the stay is faxed to our Central Reservations Office.

Does my hotel rate include parking?
Some of our hotels do offer parking, at an extra charge, subject to availability of space. You have to request parking when booking your room.

How far in advance can I make my booking?
You can make reservation for a hotel room up to 18 months in advance of your check-in date.

Can I book a hotel for same day arrival?
Yes. Your credit card will be preauthorized and the hotel room will be guaranteed for late arrival.

Is there a limit to the number of rooms I can book?
You can book up to 3 rooms at a time with us, provided they all have the same check-in and check-out dates. Each room can be reserved under a different name - just list the names in the space provided on our web site. If the dates are different, you will have to book separately.

Can we use your site to book rooms for a large group?
For group reservations please send an email request to our Central Reservation Office reservations@lth-hotels.com and our reservation agent will get in touch with you shortly.

Can I make a reservation over the phone?
Reservations for Special Internet Rates can also be made by calling our Central Reservation Office on phone : +44 (0) 207 835 2000.
